Spending years working on their highly-praised return album Random Access Memories, Daft Punk undoubtedly left a number of songs on the cutting room floor.
One such song the robot duo left behind is “Horizon,” which was tacked on as a bonus track for the Japanese edition of the LP. Surfacing online for the rest of the world to stream and enjoy, the song demonstrates Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter’s more restrained side, featuring acoustic guitar and pedal steel against some slower, spacey explorations.
