Perhaps as a means of celebrating the release of their debut album If You Leave this week, UK trio Daughter have premiered an unexpected cover of Daft Punk’s return single “Get Lucky.” Recorded live over the weekend on BBC Radio One, the rendition strips back the original version’s more celebratory, funk-driven elements for a more stark interpretation.
