Aug 05, 2015 Deradoorian
Angel Deradoorian, perhaps best known as the former bassist/vocalist in Dirty Projectors, recently announced the release of her debut solo album, The Expanding Flower Planet, due out August 21 via Anticon and to be released simply under her last name. Now she’s shared another track from it, “Komodo,” which at first sounds like something from the big floating Japanese billboards in Blade Runner. Stream it below.
Previously Deradoorian had shared the album’s opening track, “A Beautiful Woman,” followed by a live video for “A Beautiful Woman,” and then the song “The Eye.”
As we reported on earlier, Deradoorian also has some upcoming U.S. tour dates opening for former Stereolab vocalist Laetitia Sadier. Those dates are below again.
