Is the Is Are Due At Some Point via Captured Tracks

Back in April DIIV announced that their second album, the somewhat awkwardly titled Is the Is Are, will be coming out this fall via Captured Tracks. Since then there’s been mainly radio silence. Months went by and no songs from the album had been shared and a more exact release date still has yet to be confirmed, putting into question whether it will be a 2015 release after all. But then in September the band shared the brand new song, “Dopamine.” And now another new song has surfaced on Spotify, the shoegazey “Bent (Roi’s Song),” which gives more hope that Is the Is Are isn’t too far from being released. Although at this point a 2016 release seems more likely, unless DIIV plan to surprise release this thing.
