Dog in the Snow
UK duo Dog In The Snow has released a new single “The Slow/Quick Reveal.” Dog In The Snow is the moniker of Helen Ganya Brown who is accompanied by Eva Bowan. The single follows last year’s ”Uncanny Valley EP” and deals with the disconnect that is created from mixing real-life with the digital interactions. Fans of Empress Of and Bat For Lashes might enjoy this indie/electro pop duo.
Of the track Brown says: ”(The song) looks at how most people interact nowadays, which is mainly online, and how we think we know someone really well through their virtual presence; the quick reveal. The slow reveal is the more natural, slow process of getting to know someone, which tends to happen less. I really like that weird feeling that can sometimes happen when you meet someone in person for the first time, and you have to pretend that you know very little about them when actually you know loads more.”
