Sweden’s El Perro Del Mar (aka Sarah Assbring) is releasing a new album, KoKoro, on September 19 via The Control Group. Previously she shared the music video for “Breadandbutter,” now she’s shared another indie-pop gem from the record, “Ding Sum.” Listen below.
Lenny, the email newsletter from Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner, premiered the song and interviewed Assbring about it. “It’s a classic pop song really, based on my idea of the Bollywood disco song, which I listened to so much of while recording this album,” said Assbring of “Ding Sum.”
