Elbow have premiered a brand new stand-alone song titled, “What Time Do You Call This,” which is featured on the soundtrack of the upcoming Ben Palmer romantic comedy, Man Up. The film stars Lake Bell as a woman who is mistaken for a stranger’s blind date (Simon Pegg), inevitably leading her to finding the man of her dreams under the pretense of a lie. Discussing Elbow’s involvement, Palmer says, “The band saw an early cut in Manchester and, thankfully, loved it. A couple of days later, Guy had already penned the lyrics and we were blown away. It was the perfect fit and a dream climax to the journey.”
Man Up arrives in UK theaters May 29 (a U.S. release is TBD), with the soundtrack arriving May 25 via Fiction Records. Scroll down below to listen to the track and watch the movie’s trailer. (via DIY Mag)
