Listen: Feist Covers Velvet Underground with Members of Air, Radiohead, and Supergrass
Live Cover of “Femme Fatale” in Paris
Aug 16, 2011 Feist
We all know that Leslie Feist is cooler than us…so this just seems like a victory lap. Recently Feist (whose new album Metals streets October 4) took time out from her busy schedule to cover The Velvet Underground at a one-off tribute in Paris. The songstress sang vocals on “Femme Fatale”—her backup band comprised of members of Radiohead (Colin Greenwood), Supergrass (Gaz Coombes and Danny Goffey in their current incarnation with Nigel Godrich, The HotRats), and Air (Nicolas Godin). Ya know, just pals jamming. Check it out below.
