The Flaming Lips
In 2010, Sparklehorse’s Mark Linkous committed suicide. To keep the late singer/songwriter’s memory alive, a group of artists—including Phantogram, Mercury Rev, and Mark Lanegan have come together to cover the artist’s iconic works. The album, titled Last Box of Sparklers has yet to receive a release date, but you can take a listen to Flaming Lips’ take on “Sad and Beautiful World” below.
