Foo Fighters are releasing a new album, Concrete and Gold, on September 15 via Roswell/RCA. Recently they shared a video for “The Sky Is a Neighborhood” directed by frontman Dave Grohl. Now they have shared another song from the album, “The Line.” Listen to it below, followed by the band’s upcoming tour dates.
Concrete and Gold is the band’s ninth album and Greg Kurstin produced it. Justin Timberlake guests on the album. Below also is a teaser trailer for an album making-of documentary also coming September 15.
On October 7 Foo Fighters will headlining their new festival, Cal Jam ‘17 at Glen Helen Regional Park in San Bernardino, CA. The rest of the lineup will include Queens of the Stone Age, Cage The Elephant, Liam Gallagher, The Kills, Royal Blood, Japandroids, Wolf Alice, Bob Mould, Bully, White Reaper, and more. The album includes the previously shared single “Run.”
Grohl had this to say about the album in a previous press release: “I wanted it to be the biggest sounding Foo Fighters record ever. To make a gigantic rock record but with Greg Kurstin’s sense of melody and arrangement… Motorhead’s version of Sgt. Pepper... or something like that.”
