Foxygen
Foxygen’s last album was 2014’s ...And Star Power, but on Monday the duo (Jonathan Rado and Sam France) shared a new 35-second teaser video that featured new music. Now the band has shared a brand new song, “America.” It’s a grandiose track that features a 34-piece orchestra. A press release describes the song as “a celebration of death and nothing.” A new album hasn’t been announced yet, but this is likely its first single. Listen below.
2015 saw the band’s farewell tour, but that didn’t last long and this Sunday the band are playing the Desert Daze festival in California. The press release promises that “the band will perform as an 11-piece featuring 5 horn players.”
