With their sophomore album Celebration Rock poised for release on June 5, Canadian rock duo Japandroids are leading up to the big day by issuing a special single that includes both the band’s new track “The House That Heaven Built,” as well as a B-side take of Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds’ 1992 song “Jack the Ripper,” the latter of which has just now become available to stream online. Out digitally today, the vinyl version of the single is slated to go on sale May 15. Take a listen to the cover by clicking below.
