Jens Lekman clearly doesn’t make idle promises. Apparently during Hurricane Sandy last November Lekman’s pianist Jonas, found himself stuck in New York City with no way of getting to the West Coast to resume touring. Thinking fast Lekman reached out to the online community and asked if anyone could help Jonas get to Boston where he could catch a flight.

Two girls, Oliva and Maddy, rose to the task. In return for their act of kindness, Lekman promised he would write them a song. Making good on said promise, Lekman has offered up a free download of a new song called, you guessed it, “Oliva & Maddy.”
