Prolific Melbourne psych-rock adventurers King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard have already stated their intentions to release five albums this year and they have already released four: Flying Microtonal Banana in February, Murder of the Universe in June, Sketches of Brunswick East (which features Los Angeles’ Mild High Club) in August, and Polygondwanaland in November, all via ATO. Last week they shared two new songs (“All Is Known” and “Beginner’s Luck”), and another one surfaced online earlier this week (“Greenhouse Heat Death”). Now they have shared another new song, “The Last Oasis.” It’s relaxed and a little jazzy. Listen below. Perhaps album five of 2017 is on the way soon? They’ve got 10 days to get it out in 2017!
