Listen: M.I.A. – “Bird Song (Diplo Remix)”
AIM Due Out September 9 via Interscope
Aug 18, 2016 M.I.A.
M.I.A. is releasing her long teased new album, AIM, which is of course M.I.A. backwards, on September 9 via Interscope. Last week she shared a new song, “Bird Song,” which was labeled as the Blaqstarr remix but also expected to be on the album. At the time it was also reported that there was a Diplo-produced version of the song. M.I.A. later said on Twitter that her label wouldn’t allow the Diplo version to be released, but now whatever problems there were have been resolved and below is the Diplo version, which apparently also appears on the album.
Previously she had shared “Go Off,” which features Skrillex, as well as its explosive video.
