Off M83's Soundtrack to You and the Night

Following his work composing the score for the sci-fi film Oblivion M83‘s Anthony Gonzalez will provide the entire soundtrack for an upcoming French film titled You and the Night by director Yann Gonzalez. Releasing the soundtrack digitally on Nov. 19 with a physical release planned for next year, Gonzalez has shared the first piece of music from the effort titled “Ali & Matthias.”
”The soundtrack pays tribute to French soundtracks form the 70s and is much more intimate than Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming and the Oblivion soundtrack,” says Gonzalez on his SoundCloud page. “This score is really for lovers and ghosts.”
