Pussy Riot
In an act of solidarity for the incarcerated members of Pussy Riot, dance duo MEN have released a new song titled “Let Them Out Or Let Me In.” Paired with a video depicting the Russian punk band’s now highly recognizeable images of protest, as well as the detained trio Masha, Nadia and Katja in a cage in court, the song’s release comes the same day as the announcement that the women’s appeal hearing would be postponed to Oct. 10. MEN’s JD Samson (who is interviewed in an article on gay issues in Under the Radar‘s newest Protest Issue) has been an active member and spokesperson of the Free Pussy Riot movement, recently contributing to the fundraising ebook “Pussy Riot! A Punk Prayer for Freedom.”
