Modest Mouse’s 1996 record This Is A Long Drive For Someone With Nothing To Think About and 1997 album The Lonesome Crowded West will be reissued on vinyl this autumn through Fat Possum and Isaac Brock’s own Glacial Pace label. Both reissues will contain songs from the original recording sessions that were never officially released.
Long Drive is slated for an October 28 release, and will come with a 7’’ featuring the previously unreleased tracks “White Lies, Yellow Teeth” and “Buttons to Push the Buttons.” Lonesome Crowded West is due out November 4 and will be accompanied by a 7’’ with the unreleased cut “Too Many Fiestas For Rueben” and an alternate take of “Cowboy Dan.” Stream “White Lies, Yellow Teeth” below.
