MONEY
British trio MONEY are releasing their sophomore album, Suicide Songs, on January 29, 2016 via Bella Union. Previously the band had shared the album’s first single, “You Look Like a Sad Painting on Both Sides of the Sky.” Now we have another song from the record, “I’ll Be the Night.” Listen to it below via Stereogum (who premiered it)
Suicide Songs is the follow-up to 2013’s acclaimed debut album, The Shadow of Heaven (which was released in the U.S. in 2014). The creation of the album was difficult, with one-third of the band based in London and the other two-thirds in Manchester. Eventually they all came together in London with the help of producer Charlie Andrew and overcame their differences.
Below is “I’ll Be the Night” and above again is the album’s crazy cover art. Also read our 2014 interview with MONEY.
