Listen: Neon Neon - “Mid Century Modern Nightmare”
New Track Off Praxis Makes Perfect
Mar 08, 2013 Neon Neon
Neon Neon‘s Gruff Rhys and Boom Bip have unveiled the first track off their forthcoming new album Praxis Makes Perfect. Titled “Mid Century Modern Nightmare,” the two-minute piece of pop power features backing vocals from frequent collaborator Cate Le Bon and an impassioned contribution by Italian actress Asia Argento as she recites a speech by Giagiacomo Feltrinelli, originally broadcast back in 1970. The whole of Neon Neon’s new album serves as an ode of sorts to the left-wing activist and author.
