Last week singer/songwriter Will Sheff and his Texan outfit Okkervil River announced that would soon be releasing their seventh studio album The Silver Gymnasium. This morning the band has shared the first taste of the forthcoming effort with its opening track, “It Was My Season,” pairing it with a lyric video. Click below to listen to the song. As previously reported, the band has scheduled to hit the road this fall in support of the record, which is set to arrive Sept. 3 via ATO.
