Parquet Courts released their excellent latest album, Human Performance, back last April via Rough Trade. Last July they stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to perform Human Performance track “Captive of the Sun.” But the band changed it up and brought out rapper Bun B (from UGK) for a new guest verse (Bun B is not featured on the album version). Now, as promised, a studio version of the song featuring Bun B has been released as a 12-inch (along with a Chopped Not Slopped remix from Texas DJ OG Ron C). Check out the new version of “Captive of the Sun” below, via its lyric video.
