During their headlining performance at this year’s Coachella, Parisian rockers Phoenix brought out none other than R. Kelly as a surprise guest, mashing up portions of their respective song catalogs for an insane set of music. Continuing their unique pairing Phoenix and R. Kelly have joined forced once again to deliver a brand new remix of Phoenix’s Bankrupt! single “Trying to Be Cool.” The reworked track is but the latest in a long list of Bankrupt!-related remixes that have been composed by Dirty Projectors, Grizzly Bear, Blood Orange, and Dinosaur Jr among others.
