On June 19 Drag City will release Early Times, a compilation album collecting a number of early recordings by the Silver Jews. Recorded by post-collegiate versions of David Berman, Stephen Malkmus, and Bob Natasnovich, the record will feature songs off the band’s original 7’’ EP Dime Map of the Reef and 12’’ EP The Arizona Record in all their fuzzy, imperfect glory.
