On Aug. 5 Spoon will release They Want My Soul, the follow-up to band’s 2010 LP Transference. Today frontman Britt Daniel and co. have premiered the studio version of LP’s lead single “Rent I Pay.” The track had first premiered yesterday as a live rendition when NPR showcased a performance video of the band playing the track at New York City’s Le Poisson Rouge. In addition to the song, the band has shared the album’s cover art (pictured) and tracklist (below). Click the stream to listen to the track.
