Song For His Sister
Oct 29, 2013
Sufjan Stevens
At random points throughout the past year Sufjan Stevens has been doing some serious digging into his archives. Having already shared demos of “Casimir Pulaski Day,” “Impossible Soul,” and unreleased material such as “Give a Little Love,” and “Take Me,” the ever-prolific songwriter has returned once more, sharing a demo track called “Jamila.” According to Stevens, the acoustic piece was recorded on a four-track for his sister around 1998.
