Beloved Scottish veterans Teenage Fanclub are releasing a new album, Here, the band’s tenth full-length, on September 9 via Merge. Previously they had shared Here‘s first single and opening track, “I’m In Love,” as well as a video for the song. Now here’s another song from the album, “Thin Air.” Listen below, followed by the band’s upcoming tour dates.

Teenage Fanclub’s three founding members (Norman Blake, Raymond McGinley, and Gerard Love) each wrote four of the album’s 12 songs. Here was then recorded with the band’s soundman David Henderson, with regular drummer Francis Macdonald and keyboard player Dave McGowan also joining the sessions, which went down in three different locations. It was recorded at Vega in rural Provence, France, and at McGinley’s home studio in Glasgow, Scotland. Then the album was mixed at Clouds Hill in Hamburg, Germany.
