In the upcoming film Dallas Buyers Club, Matthew McConaughey plays Ron Woodroof, a real-life Texan who after being diagnosed with HIV started smuggling medication from outside the country for himself and others whose health was being put in jeopardy from the pharmaceutical establishment.
Contributing to the motion picture’s soundtrack, sisters Tegan and Sara have offered up a previously unreleased b-side titled, “Shudder to Think.” “I’ve been very excited about Dallas Buyers Club ever since hearing about the film,” says Sara Quin in an interview with Rolling Stone. “With the soundtrack supporting such an important cause, we’re very excited to contribute to the campaign.”
