The Antlers
All month long Transgressive Records is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a series of giveaway downloads from its roster of artists. Today the label has offered up the track “Jupiter” by The Antlers. Originally included as part of the Record Store Day compilation The Space Project, which had various artists use field recordings taken from space and incorporate them into their material, “Jupiter” uses electromagnetic fluctuations in the magnetosphere as the Voyager probe travelled near our solar system’s largest planet.
