Listen: The Invisible - “Save You”
Single Out Now via Ninja Tune
Feb 09, 2016 The Invisible
London’s underappreciated and fantastic trio The Invisible have shared a brand new song, “Save You.” Zane Lowe premiered the song on his Beats 1 show and you can stream the funky track below. It’s out now as a single via Ninja Tune.
The band is playing the 6 Music Festival in Bristol, England on February 14th. Frontman Dave Okumu is also the musical director for a Gil Scott Heron tribute at the Roundhouse, in London next month at Convergence Festival. Last August the band released another new song, “Easy Now.” There’s no word yet as to when to expect their third album, the follow-up to 2012’s Rispah. The Invisible also feature Tom Herbert and Leo Taylor, their self-titled debut album was nominated for The Mercury Prize in 2009, and Okumu produced and sang on Jessie Ware’s acclaimed debut album.
Check out “Save You” below. Also read our 2012 interview with the band and our 2009 interview with them (which was The Invisible’s first American interview).
