The Last Shadow Puppets
The Last Shadow Puppets (the duo of Miles Kane and Arctic Monkeys’ Alex Turner) are releasing their long-awaited sophomore album, Everything You’ve Come to Expect, this Friday (April 1) via Domino. Previously the band had shared “Bad Habits” from the album and videos for the record’s title track and “Aviation.” Now here’s another song from the album, “Miracle Aligner.” It was premiered by Zane Lowe on his Beats 1 Radio show today when he interviewed the duo.
The Last Shadow Puppets released their great debut album, The Age of Understatement, back in 2008. It’s been a long wait for a sophomore release (although Arctic Monkeys have released three albums since then and Kane has also put out two solo albums in that time). James Ford produced Everything You’ve Come to Expect and plays drums. Owen Pallett has done the string arrangements. Zachary Dawes (Mini Mansions) plays bass.
