The Libertines have shared two new songs from their forthcoming new album, Anthems for Doomed Youth: rocker “Glasgow Coma Scale Blues” and the mellower album title track “Anthems for Doomed Youth.” Anthems for Doomed Youth is the band’s first album in 11 years, since 2004’s self-titled album. The album was originally due out September 4 via Harvest, but has been pushed back a week to September 11. Previously the band had shared the video for “Gunga Din.” Check out both new songs below.
