The Radio Dept.
Swedish dream pop outfit The Radio Dept. have come out of the blue today to release a new track called “Death to Fascism.” The band’s first piece of new material in four years, the song’s debut coincides with the upcoming political elections of the group’s native country. The track samples vocals from Yugoslavian partisan freedom fighter Stjepan Filipović saying “Smrt fasizmu, sloboda narodu,” which translates to “Death to Fascism, freedom to the people.”
