Listen to Actor Tom Hardy’s Rap Mixtape from 1999
Falling on Your Arse in 1999 Credited to Tommy No 1 + Eddie Too Tall
Jan 18, 2018 Tom Hardy
Tom Hardy is probably one of the most acclaimed actors of his generation. You know him from Mad Max: Fury Road, The Dark Knight Rises, Bronson, Inception, The Revenant, Dunkirk, Peaky Blinders, and more. Later this year he stars as Spider-Man villain (and later anti-hero) Venom in a movie of the same name due out in October. But did you know that he also raps, or used to at least? Back in the late 1990s Hardy had the rapper name Tommy No 1 and was partnered up with Edward Tracey, now a BAFTA-winning television writer and director, then Eddie Too Tall. Earlier this month Tracey uploaded to Bandcamp a previously unreleased 1999 mixtape from the duo and the Internet has just caught wind of it. You can listen to it below. It includes “Wiser,” where Hardy raps over the theme to The Godfather.
