David Bowie
Last year the excellent David Bowie box set Five Years (1969 - 1973) was released. It collected Bowie’s early albums. As previously announced, now a follow-up box set is planned, entitled David Bowie - Who Can I Be Now? (1974 - 1976). It includes an unreleased mix of “TVC15,” a song originally found on 1976’s Station to Station. Bowie was unhappy with the original mix of the song and so in 2010 the album’s original producer Harry Maslin put together a new mix of the song to, as The Guardian reports, “achieve the drier sound they’d been aiming for while recording it in 1975.” Now that mix is finally seeing the light of day. Listen below.
