Jenny Lewis stopped by NPR’s A Prairie Home Companion on Saturday and during the broadcast from Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium she performed a new song, “Heads Gonna Roll.” Lewis has been working on the follow-up to her 2014 album The Voyager, with Ryan Adams producing. Click here to hear the song at the 1:20 mark. She also performed The Voyager single “Just One of the Guys” at the 19:40 mark. Lewis was a child actor who guest starred on such shows as The Golden Girls (as an spoiled girl scout who won’t give Rose back her teddy bear in a 1987 episode) and appeared opposite Fred Savage and Christian Slater in the 1989 video game drama The Wizard. A video has recently surfaced online of an 11-year-old Lewis as a contestant on the game show Card Shark during a Young People’s Week in 1987. She was of course charming and adorable, and also very smart, getting most of the questions right. Watch that video below.
