To Be Released as a 7-Inch on December 4 with Beatles Cover

“Sappy” is a previously unreleased Kurt Cobain demo. It was featured in the documentary Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck and is being released as a 7-inch single on December 4 (the other side features Cobain’s cover of The Beatles’ “And I Love Her”). You can now stream “Sappy” below.

Nirvana’s version of the song was released under the title “Verse Chorus Verse” as a bonus track on 1993’s No Alternative compilation. Also on November 13 Montage of Heck: The Home Recordings, a collection of Cobain demos, is being released.
