Last November Toro Y Moi‘s Chaz Bundick announced a new collaborative album with Southern California instrumental psych-jazz duo The Mattson 2 (identical twin brothers Jared and Jonathan Mattson). It’s entitled Star Stuff and it’s due out March 31 via Bundick’s own Company Records. Previously the trio shared “Star Stuff” and “JBS.” Now here’s another song from the record, the very funky instrumental “Disco Kid.” It sounds like something from the soundtrack to a gritty 1970s cop thriller.
