Listen: Vampire Weekend Cover Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines”
Live on BBC Radio 1
Jul 19, 2013 Vampire Weekend
While nobody will be able to confirm whether they had a gaggle of topless super models around them at the time of its performance, Vampire Weekend recently sat down in the studio at BBC Radio 1 and recorded a completely faithful rendition of Robin Thicke’s sexualized summer hit “Blurred Lines.” Between Ezra Koenig’s funk falsetto verses (complete with T.I.‘s rap) and the rest of the band’s jump-in hollerin’ the whole thing makes for a hilariously awesome listening experience. Listen to the cover on Pretty Much Amazing.
