Listen: “Walter Mitty” Trailer Teases New Collaborative Song by José González and St. Vincent

This December Ben Stiller directs, produces, and stars in the upcoming film The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. Loosely based on the 1939 short story by James Thurber, Stiller stars as an introverted and timid magazine photo manager who constantly daydreams of being in adventures, eventually getting the chance to embark on a very real one when he goes in search of a missing photo negative.
This week the latest trailer for the movie premiered. While the clip once again makes use of “Dirty Paws” by Of Monsters and Men, put to great effect for the first teaser, the new entry happens to feature a brand new song by José González and St. Vincent. Titled “Step Outside” the uplifting track certainly fits right in with the anticipated tone of the film. No word just yet when a full version of the song will be available. Click below to watch.
