Minneapolis-based singer/rapper Lizzo (aka Melissa Jefferson) kicked off 2019 with a brand new song, “Juice,” which made it to #2 on our Songs of the Week list. Now she has performed the song on Ellen in a fantastic performance that found the singer going into the audience with her dancers and even performing a flute solo. She has also announced a new album, Cuz I Love You, which is due out April 19 via Nice Life Recording Company/Atlantic, and some tour dates. Check out the Ellen performance below, followed by the tour dates.

“Juice” followed her 2018 singles “Fitness” and “Boys.” Lizzo hasn’t released a studio album since 2015’s Big Grrrl Small World (although she did release the Coconut Oil EP in 2016).
