The Lonely Island are officially moving on from hilarious music videos to the big screen. The musical comedy trio made up of Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, and Jorma Taccone, are working on a Lonely Island movie. All three members are reportedly working on the script, and Judd Apatow (Knocked Up, 40 Year Old Virgin) will be producing. Taccone and Schaffer are set to share directing duties, having both directed the groups SNL digital shorts. Schaffer also directed Hot Rod and The Watch, and Taccone directed MacGruber as well as several Parks & Recreation and Brooklyn Nine Nine episodes.
