Georgia’s Lunar Vacation have released a new song, “Lights Off,” today via Keeled Scales. This is the first single since their 2024 sophomore album Everything Matters, Everything’s Fire. The song is accompanied by a self-directed music video and an announcement of an Indieheads AMA taking place on Wednesday, March 19th at 1 p.m. EST. Watch the music video below. Also below, find Lunar Vacation’s tour dates for the next leg of their tour.
Growing up as childhood friends, Lunar Vacation is composed of Gep Repasky on vocals and guitar, Maggie Geeslin on vocals and guitar, Matteo Delurgio on keyboard and percussion, Connor Dowd on drums, and Ben Wulkman on bass.
In a press release, Repasky wrote this about “Lights Off”: “This song feels like an open letter. Naturally, I have my own meaning tied into it but whether or not it’s a letter of adoration or the final farewell, it’s not for me to say. Whether it’s about something physical or intangible, it’s also not for me to say. It could be about both or neither. It is up to the listener to create their own meaning, take what resonates with them, and use it to be the kindling wood in the growing fire of feeling, creativity, thinking and understanding.”
Lunar Vacation kicks off the next leg of their U.S. tour that began in February on Thursday with a hometown show at Terminal West in Atlanta.
