Lykke Li Escapes to the Desert In New Video
More Performance Art Than Musical Promotion
Sep 14, 2010 Lykke Li
Not so much a music video as an artistic statement, Lykke Li headed out to the desert with, “Some friends and a super 8 camera,” as she describes via press release. “A major sun burn later, some shattered mirrors, I found myself, my ego, my thoughts, my expectations and my image to be a burden, hard to get rid of, if ever possible?”
The result of her explorations is a freaky/cool short black-and-while film titled Solarium. In it, Li seems to be indulging in every French New-wave trope, at the same time. And, not so surprisingly, it seems to work.

I like lykke li music… but this video isnt artistic, it lacks of creativity, and obviously its quite boring!
