Lykke Li Gets Artsy in New Video
But What Does it Mean?
Jan 21, 2011
Lykke Li
Today, Lykke Li released an untitled video. The music in the piece is a track called “Ladies Love,” which Lykke Li had intended to include on her upcoming album Wounded Rhymes. You might remember “Ladies Love” being track nine on initial lists when the album was annouced. Now it appears Wounded Rhymes will have 10 tracks total, not 11, as originally reported. “Ladies Love” no longer is listed but perhaps it still might appear as a hidden or unlisted track.
Like Solarium before it, the video is more performance art than promotional, and like Solarium, it’s quite pretty. But with dogs, knives and cards…what does it mean? No, really. Watch it below and tell us.
