M.I.A. Shares Video for New Song - “Goals”

Song Dedicated to Her Hardcore Fans and Timed to the Meltdown Festival

M.I.A. has shared a brand new song, “Goals,” via a video comprised of GIFs of M.I.A. and her fans arranged by artist Jaime Martinez. The song is timed to London’s Meltdown Festival, which starts this Friday and is curated by M.I.A., as well as this week’s British general election. Watch it below.

On the YouTube page for the song M.I.A. dedicated the song to her fans via the following all caps statement:

“DEDICATED TO MY HARDCORE FANS THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNFALTERING DEDICATION AND SUPPORT. YOU HAVE GIVEN ME A SLIVER OF HOPE IN HUMANITY. STAY STRONG.

REALITY WINNERZ.

PLEASE VOTE.”

M.I.A.‘s last album, A.I.M., which is of course M.I.A. backwards, came out last year via Interscope.
