M.I.A.
This morning M.I.A. took to Twitter expressing her frustration that her new album Matangi had yet to be given a release date by her label Interscope. Threatening to leak the album herself and “make a new one by the time they are ready,” Interscope quickly settled the dispute with an actual release date: Nov. 5. Named after M.I.A.‘s actual real first name, the upcoming LP will likely feature a number of tracks that the rap artist has shared throughout the year, including “atTENTion,” “Bring the Noize,” and “Only 1 U.”
