Madonna Shares New Song “Crave” (Feat. Swae Lee)
Madame X Due Out June 14 via Live Nation / Interscope / Maverick
May 10, 2019 Madonna
Madonna is releasing a new album, Madame X, on June 14 via Live Nation/Interscope/Maverick. Now she has shared another song from it, “Crave,” which features Swae Lee. Listen below.
Previously Madonna shared Madame X‘s first single, “Medellín,” which features Columbian reggaeton star Maluma. Then she shared another new song from the album, “I Rise,” which opens with a sample of a speech by Emma González, a survivor of the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting. She also announced some intimate concert residencies for this fall.
Madame X is the 1980s icon’s fourteenth studio album, the follow-up to 2015’s Rebel Heart. Madonna has been living in Lisbon, Portugal for the last several years, which influenced the album. It thus features lyrics sung in Portuguese, Spanish, and English. Mirwais produced the album, which also features production work from Mike Dean and Diplo, among others.
Madonna had this to say about the album in a previous press release: Lisbon is where my record was born. I found my tribe there and a magical world of incredible musicians that reinforced my belief that music across the world is truly all connected and is the soul of the universe.”
