London-based band Man/Woman/Chainsaw have unveiled their latest single, “Grow A Tongue In Time,” which showcases a new dimension of their evolving sound. This folk-tinged track is the second release from their eagerly awaited debut EP, Eazy Peazy, which will drop on November 8th under Fat Possum Records.

The band describes “Grow A Tongue In Time” as a “stream-of-consciousness look at jealousy, desire, and self-pity.” The track began with a minimalistic bass arrangement, gradually evolving with the addition of a droning violin and creaking bowed guitar. Despite being one of the calmer moments within their live set, the song builds its own intensity organically, without relying on aggression.

The band comprises Billy Ward (vocals, guitars), Emmie-Mae Avery (vocals, keys/synths), Vera Leppänen (vocals, bass), Clio Starwood (violin), and Lola Cherry (drums), began creating music when they were just 16, Man/Woman/Chainsaw have since released three self-produced singles, earning a reputation as one of London’s most exciting and unpredictable young acts.
