New Zealand singer/songwriter/guitarist Marlon Williams released his sophomore album, Make Way For Love, back in February 2018 via Dead Oceans. Now he has digitally released his first official live album, Live at Auckland Town Hall, and has shared a live video for the album’s “Carried Away.” Watch the video below, where you can also stream the whole album. Above is the cover art. The album will get a physical release on May 24.

Williams was recently supporting Florence + the Machine (aka Florence Welch and backing band) on her Australian tour and at her show in Sydney last Saturday she brought him out on stage to perform Make Way For Love highlight “Nobody Gets What They Want Anymore.” Welch shared an official live video of the chill-inducing performance, which we posted earlier this week. The original album version was a duet with Williams’ ex-girlfriend Aldous Harding and was our #1 Song of the Week.

Last fall Williams appeared in the hit Bradley Cooper/Lady Gaga musical romance A Star Is Born, playing himself as a younger star tapped to lead a Roy Orbison tribute at the Grammys instead of Cooper’s somewhat aging rocker Jackson Maine.
